Happy Thanksgiving everyone- we spent turkey day in Olean NY with Mike's family- it was so much fun and it snowed which was our first snow as new englanders- not sure how I feel about that. I was terrible about taking pics so below I have included some belated halloween photos instead (at least I finally posted these right?). Mike and I are so thankful this year for our new experience in Newport and being close to family so that we did not have to miss out on the thanksgiving reunion. We are headed to NYC on friday to experience NYC at christmas time and I promise to get some pics!!! Keep your fingers crossed it is not too cold so that we may take in as many of the sites as possible.
Hope everyone had as wonderful as thanksgiving as us. Love Amy
Hi all
We have had a couple very busy/ hectic months so I apologize for the lack of posts- I promise to try and be better. We arrived in Newport the last week in October and are absolutely loving it. It is so beautiful here and we can walk everywhere which quite different from Oklahoma. Luckily for us southerners, RI is having an unseasonably hot November so it has been in the 60s most days. I am sure once the winter weather hits I may not be as thrilled with our new location but I have been shopping and trying to prepare ourselves as much as possible. Should be an interesting experience.
My mom (Mimi) was in town this past weekend so you have her to thank for all the great pics below of Ellie. I do have halloween pics but we just got a new computer and I have not had time to transfer them- I post all the pics on facebook though if you want to check them out there. Ellie was an adorable ladybug and eventhough we did not do much trick or treating we did take her out to dinner in her costume and she was a hit at the restaurant.
We really are having such a great time and are so thankful for this experience. I will try and update the blog to keep you appraised of all of our adventures while in the Northeast. Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving- Love Amy

Welcome Family and Friends!
With addition of our precious angel, I figured it was time to start a blog so that everyone could be blessed with updates on her many developments and pictures of our adorable baby. All this plus my witty insights - who could ask for anything more from a blog. Enjoy!
